Chimp Adopts Adorable Genet Kitten

Chimp Adopts Adorable Genet Kitten

One of the older chimps is playing with a
tiny kitten! It’s the offspring of a genet cat found
abandoned in the forest. He treats it gently, mindful not to hurt it. Even a nip is tolerated. The way he responds to the genet is quite
remarkable. Other chimps are intrigued. And one shows an unwelcome interest. This chimp is used to having his own way. But without any feelings for the kitten, he’s
a bit too rough. The owner shows real concern and intervenes
to protect his vulnerable pet. And takes it from harm’s way.

  1. Experiment 2: Leave a bottle of milk for the Chimp to give to the baby with a reward underneath the bottle once the milk is all gone from feeding the baby.

  2. Estão é judiando do pobrezinho! Infelizmente acho q ele não sobrevive! Todavia é uma milagre que ainda não resolveram come-lo!

  3. It can't survive id imagine. Being a kitten It would suckle milk which naturally it won't have. Chimps don't ordinarily kills for meat so unless the kitten can get nourishment from leaves and nuts, it's dead. Not to mention that although gentle, the chimp is way too powerful for such an animal, it'll kill it accidentally or accidentally drop it from a tree.

  4. First of all it's not a cat of any kind, so that's misleading. Genets are in the viverridae family, not felidae. Secondly, they're not very large and while that one is young, it's well developed. If it can figure out how to forage while the ape protects it, there is some chance of survival, though it's not high.
